By submitting this assessment, your nonprofit confirms that it understands the resources offered through Jumpstart and wishes to be considered for program support. Participation signals a commitment to the following:
- Time commitment: It is recommended that participating nonprofits dedicate themselves to weekly fundraising-related activities throughout the yearlong program. This is a trust-based commitment—sustained effort is required for success.
- Team-based approach: The monthly time commitment to the Jumpstart Program may be shared across staff, board members, and/or volunteers. This time includes engaging in:
- Regularly meeting with your selected Fundraising Coach
- Attending coach-led workshops for Jumpstart participants
- (Accelerate model only) Adopting and using the provided technology, including managing contacts, entering and acknowledging gifts, using communication tools, and creating online campaigns.
- Program feedback: Participating nonprofits will be asked to respond to two brief surveys over the course of the program to share feedback and outcomes. This input helps our funder partners understand the program’s impact and is greatly valued.
- If selected to participate in the program, by using Bonterra products you agree to our terms, available at https://www.bonterratech.com/legal
Jumpstart works when participants fully engage. Organizations that commit consistently throughout the year are more likely to see increased fundraising capacity and revenue. By submitting this assessment, you affirm your willingness to participate—not out of contractual obligation, but because your organization is motivated to leverage the program and strengthen its fundraising outcomes.
